Jinji Station, located on the shores of Jinji Lake, covers an area of 1,200 square meters. This station not only provides an ideal venue for public gatherings and receptions but also serves as one of the 11 planned permanent stations, playing a crucial role in Suzhou's efforts to create a vibrant and attractive lakeside promenade. The new architecture of Jinji Station seamlessly blends traditional Chinese courtyard design elements with modern public space features. Its inspiration draws from the time-honored tradition of people gathering under trees to connect with one another. To embody this concept, four independent buildings are interconnected to form an open space, providing both local residents and tourists with a gathering place, as well as a pleasant resting spot for pedestrians strolling along the 13-kilometer Jinji Lake promenade.
